USA – Hospitality Now is searching for a self-motivating individual as a self-employed contractors on a part time basis to perform Quality Assurance Audits in the hotel/restaurant industry.

The individual must be able to travel 4-6 times per year, with trips lasting 7-21+ days each. Most travel is domestic, however, international travel may also be required.

Previous experience in the hotel/restaurant industry, consisting of not less than two years in a management or supervisory position at a volume hotel or restaurant operation is a minimum requirement.  Related work experience could be in Human Resources, Rooms & Related or Food & Beverage areas.  Employment history and references must be valid and verifiable.

Serve-Safe, TAP or similar certification in Food Safety is required within the first 90 days.

Hotel Quality Audits require a minimum of a 1-3 night stay at the hotel.  A mystery style visit occurs during the initial stay followed by a detailed walk-through with hotel management on the final day.

The person must be able to work independently, be self-motivated, and exhibit extreme patience, self-discipline, and good organizational skills.  Excellent communication skills are most important as coaching and training of client’s policies and procedures is a vital part of the services offered. Auditors must be able to speak clearly and present themselves and their thoughts in a concise and organized manner.

The audits and assigned projects DO NOT relate to financial audits or similar.  Contractors with a work history, primarily in the accounting/financial or marketing/sales departments, need not respond.

The individual must have a laptop, IPAD, tablet or similar to complete the audits.
